Hey everyone,

I've noticed a bunch of spam in private messages in the last couple weeks. I am very busy and have been putting off working on some spam upgrades. I was wondering how many of you are experiencing this problem so I can prioritize this effort.

I got a spam message from ZeniKneef ( http://www.gtkforums.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=25251 ) yesterday.

Maybe doing an upgrade from phpBB 2 to phpBB 3 series may help? I don't know though whether phpBB 3 has a better spam protection.

I will be doing some upgrades in the near future to address the spam and to keep the board up to date with new features. I will post back here when I have an ETA on the upgrade.
