This one has me totally stumped. When supplying an X selection as per the sample in the documentation (I'll post the link in a reply, as the forum won't allow a link on my first post) I can paste the supplied selection into every terminal program there is except urxvt (rvxt-unicode). I've been looking into this because I use wmcliphist (a clipboard history program using GTK) which also refuses to work with urxvt and would like to switch to urxvt for unicode support.
From everything in the urxvt manual it's simply using the primary selection. If I actually highlight text in any application, urxvt can in fact paste it. Yet with the sample code from the GTK documentation as well as with wmcliphist, middle mouse clicking or shift-insert in urxvt doesn't even seem to create the signal requesting the selection.
Does anyone have any idea what urxvt might be doing differently that might cause this, or more importantly, what might make it work from the GTK side?
Thanks in advance!
