Hello! I am getting spam private messages from this forum in my e-mail from the users OffessdernE, FastLoveX, Bensitto, and PoegedatHog. Is there a way to disable private messaging? I hardly post here, but I'm getting a new spam message once a week now.

I don't think you can disable PMs altogether, but you can disable the email notifications:

I had one. I think the admins should ban all "members" who spam, maybe get people to post on a sticky. When you join, is there a "read then type these random characters" question?

I have been putting this issue on the back burner for some time. Being that it's clearly becoming a larger problem for users I will work on this problem very soon.

Should any action be taken when spam is received, or is this a purely inside matter? In case it matters, my spammer is BestAsSeenOnTVBestEver (only one message).

Yeah, it's not usually as bad as it was today (~2.5 pages), but since I'm the only moderator who regularly visits (that I know of), it only gets cleaned up when I can log on.
